How do I calculate mileage?
Fill the tank, reset the trip meter, drive normally, refill: km driven ÷ litres filled = real mileage. Do it 2–3 times and average.
Does AC really affect mileage?
Yes — AC typically cuts mileage 10–20% in city driving, less on highways. It’s the single biggest controllable factor.
Drive vs train — which is cheaper?
Add fuel + tolls + parking, then divide by passengers. For 3–4 people, driving usually wins; solo, trains usually win.
Petrol vs diesel vs CNG?
Compare per-km cost: (fuel price ÷ mileage). Factor the vehicle’s price premium too — diesel/CNG cars cost more upfront.
